But train travel could be a worst experience too especially if you do not know some of the tips that you have to take into account before boarding a train. In order for you to have the best train travel experience, the tips below could be useful.

  1. 1. When you planned to travel by train, it is advice for you to arrive in the railway station early. And if you are already in the railway station, avoid close connections to the other train passengers; the idea would also avoid you from too much stress.
  2. Before boarding the train visits first the bathroom so that you can assure that everything is okay the time you were already traveling.
  3. For your baggage deposit, change your money into a local currency.
  4. Ask for assistance seven days before your train travel schedule. You could ask one of your families to help you organize things in order.
  5. For a sleeping car, make an arrangement in advance or book for it in advance so that you do not have difficulties upon arriving in the railway stations. And it is also advice for you to buy an ear plugs to protect your ears from noise.
  6. If you would not bring foods with you, reserving a table in the dining car is much recommended, so that you will have a place to stay when you are having your meals. Don’t forget to bring bottled water as well because some trains do not serve water while you were on board.
  7. It is not necessary for you to bring lot of things onboard, because you can buy items on the train stations. You can also buy your personal items in some of the local stores upon arriving in your final destination.
  8. Don’t wear exaggerated outfits because you are not going to a party but you will be traveling by train, therefore dress comfortably.
  9. Never forget to leave your baggage unattended on the train or in the station.
  10. And if you are trying to leave your things on the train, always put your bag on a secure area and put some lock on it.
