World’s Fastest Train will be in China
China sets its eyes on the fastest bullet train in the world. It plans on hitting the 380 kph speed from Shanghai to Beijing. Currently the fastest train from these two places is up to 350 khp only and the traveling time is up to 5 hours. It the plan will be pursued and implemented the travel in between these two places will then be shorten to 4 hours instead to 5 hours.

China now had been investing on the railway industry. It has already put its long term plan into action by making the fastest bullet train in the world. In fact, in the past years China has imported technology from countries with high tech railway station in building its own railway system. China plans to finish the project in 2012.

The National Express East Coast, a railway in England and Scotland is granting those travelers who chose to journey by train free tickets on first class train travel. This is the newest scheme of the company to encourage the travelers to choose the means of transportation with consideration of the environment. It is known that train travel is less polluting compared to the other means of transportation in traveling.

If a travelers’ train travel tickets amounts to 1,800 pounds in the next three successive months. Then the traveler can pass his tickets for validation and a pass is given. So the traveler can access an unlimited use of the first class lounge with a companion at that.

A lot of other privileges come with these passes. It seems that National Express East Coast is really expecting big with their newest scheme.
