China Train Travel

In the country of China train travel is one of their best commutations because it is safe, fast, comfortable and cheap. The rail travel in China operates in both its major cities and different small cities. In China there are 10 types of train operating the country. While there are four types of fare in China trains and these are the: soft seat, hard seat, soft sleeper and hard sleeper.

On the other hand, trains in China have two types with regards to train body;

  • Air-conditioned type—this type of trains in China features contemporary type of train.
  • Regular non-air-conditioned—while this type of China train travel is an old generation which features old type of amenities as well.

Train seat in China as well as mentioned above has four types these are the soft seat, hard seat, soft sleeper and hard sleeper.

  • Soft seat—it features comfortable and great pillows. And it is expected to be cleaner and roomier compared to the hard seat. But the price is expected to be higher than the hard seat.
  • Hard seat—this type of train seats are used by the employees in China. The seats are not soft compared to the soft seats. It is a bit noisy and not that clean. This is a great train to travel with if you want unique adventure travel in China.
  • Soft sleeper—it has a four bunker beds in every compartment. Each of the compartments has a privacy doors and each of its bunks has a reading lamp, and things like trash can, cups, brushes and slippers.
  • The Hard sleeper—this type of China train seat is the most famous type of train for those travelers who have a long distance destination. Each of the train’s cars has 11 open compartments and in every compartment features 6 bunks. However, the train tickets for this type of trains are hard to get. So it is better to book for it in advance before traveling.
